Summer Fruit Fiesta

Fruits aren't just good for health but also great to snack on in summer. Here are three fantastic fruit recipes for you to try.

Mixed fruit smoothie - In a blender, take 2 cups pineapple juice, add fruits of your choice (I like kiwis and bananas!), 2 tsp honey and blend until smooth. Pour into two glasses, add crushed ice and garnish with fruit slices. A delicious and healthy treat for those lazy summer days!

Home-made golas! - Mix small chunks of fruits in orange/pineapple juice, pour in paper cups and keep in the freezer for about 45 minutes. Insert ice-cream sticks into them and freeze for some more time. Just before eating, tear off the paper cups and slurp! Kids love this one!
Fruit parfait - Layer a sundae glass with hung curd and diced, chilled fruits like melon, kiwi, watermelon, etc. Top with chopped nuts. Drizzle some honey if you have a sweet tooth. Enjoy as dessert. Alternately, you can sprinkle a tablespoon of breakfast cereal and it becomes a great breakfast option.
